John was born and raised in Iowa where his parents instilled the classic American work ethic in him.  After graduating Catholic school, John studied Business and Economics at Kirkwood College.  He relocated to the Tampa Bay area in 1983 and has witnessed first-hand the growth in the region.  Since that time, John has purchased and sold in excess of $30 million of residential and income-producing properties.   He has been a Florida licensed real estate agent and broker since 1986 and 1988 respectively, as well as a state licensed and certified building contractor since 2003.
